As a contributor, your experience provides a level of insight that cannot be captured through traditional referral systems. You observe surgical performance in real time, across multiple cases, and understand what defines true technical excellence. InsideOR creates a structured, private, and meaningful way to share that insight for the benefit of patients, surgeons and the broader healthcare system.
Getting Started as a Verified Contributor
To participate in InsideOR, professionals complete a secure login and credential verification process.
Once verified, you will gain access to your personalized dashboard, where you can begin contributing evaluations based on your direct experience working alongside surgeons.
Participation may also include future opportunities for involvement in the platform, including potential ownership or incentive-based programs as the model evolves.
How Surgeons Are Referred
InsideOR uses a structured, peer-informed process to identify surgeons who consistently demonstrate excellence.
Each recommendation is based on:
Multiple recent evaluations from professionals who have worked directly with the surgeon
Consistent performance across procedures
Alignment across a network of operating room professionals
Only surgeons who meet InsideOR’s internal standards for strong, consistent performance are recommended.
How to Evaluate Surgeons on InsideOR
The evaluation process is designed to be simple, structured, and based entirely on your firsthand experience.

You will be presented with a list of surgeons you have recently worked alongside. This list may be generated through hospital data or InsideOR’s internal system.

For each surgeon, you will answer a short set of questions, typically ranging from five to seven prompts, focused on performance, consistency, and technical ability.

If you have previously evaluated a surgeon, you may confirm that your prior assessment remains accurate or update your responses as needed.

Once completed, you will review your responses, sign your evaluation, and submit it securely through the platform.
How InsideOR Uses Your Professional Input
All professional responses are, kept completely private, never publicly attributed, aggregated with input from other contributors. InsideOR analyzes your evaluations alongside those of other professionals to identify patterns, consistency, and alignment across a network of peers. This process allows us to build recommendations based on collective insight rather than individual opinion.
